Quick and easy application
Preparation
Always clean before you seal.
The surface must be clean, dry and free from dirt, grease, oils, paints, and other compounds. After the sealant settles, the surface will be easier to clean.

Protect surrounding areas.
Midwest Sealears are designed to last and form permanent bonds to a surface. Therefore, if applied with a sprayer, windows should be masked to protect from overspray. Protect shrubbery and landscaping with a drop cloth as well as plastic or asphalt based materials.

Test your seal.
Test on small area to ensure no discoloring with result.
Application

Best results are obtained with a spray application, however our sealers can also be applied with a brush or roller.

Apply a thin coat to the substrate in well ventilated area.

Coverage: approximate 250ft²/gal.

Clean equipment with mineral spirits.
​

Midwest Sealers will dry to the touch within 30 minutes at 75F and be rain safe. However, it is best to allow 12 hours for a full cure. It is best to protect the surface for 24 hours before rain contacts the surface.

CONTAINS PETROLEUM DISTILLATES. Keep away from heat and flame. Prevent vapor build-up. When used indoors open all doors and windows to provide plenty of fresh air. Do not use without fresh air ventilation. Do not smoke. Close container after each use. For disposal guidance of unused product, contact a household hazardous waste program, or your local state or government environmental control agency.

Vapor harmful. May affect the brain or nervous system causing dizziness, headach, or nausea. Causes eye, skin, nose, and throat irritation. Avoid breathing vapor or spray mist. If you experience eye watering, headaches, dizziness or have difficult breathing, move to fresh air. Wear NIOSH approved respiratory protection with carbon filter.
